It's been a while

If you're wandering... yes it's been a while.

This summer I NEEDED to take some time off. Time away from photography and time away from my camera.

Typically from August to May I work 7 days a week between my full time job and capturing memories and action photography around Mayes County. Usually I get a few weekends, or some downtime between "sports seasons." This past year that did not happen. Because Mayes County had some awesome teams, I didn't get a break between football and basketball, nor one between basketball and baseball. I was burned out completely by graduations.

My kiddo, I'm sure you've seen Squirt around from time to time, turned NINE over the summer, and he's become fully involved in 4-H projects. I couldn't be happier nor more proud to be a 4-H mom as he tries to learn about showing chickens and goats and other 4-H events.

I also was needed a bit more around the family farm, maintenance around my parents' place and in the hay field more than in the past few years.

In addition, my full time job, the one that pays for my son and my livelihood, changed as well and became more demanding of time and energy.

So to save my sanity, I took a summer off, COMPLETELY away from anything to do with photography. I rarely touched my camera and usually it was for my own kiddo when I did.

But I'm back and doing my best to readjust to an even busier schedule.

Fall sports are in full swing and Mayes County Fair is fast approaching. Please forgive my absence and I thank you for your continued support.

Please remember to support your favorite local photographer and look for more updates soon. Here's a link with information on how to order online! http://www.kristytroyerphotography.com/blog/2015/3/how-much-how-do-you-order

See ya'll on the sidelines.
