Chouteau Lady Wildcats made history Saturday night punching their ticket to the State Playoffs for the first time! Chouteau beat Luther in a double overtime battle at Regionals to take home the plaque. They then fell short in a tough battle against unbeaten Kiefer, placing the girls once again in a battle with the Luther Lions. It remained a close game in its entirety. The Lions missed a 3 point buzzer bucket that would have tied the game and sent it into overtime.

Chouteau has a new tough opponent to look to this Thursday afternoon. They will play at 2 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, aka “The Big House” against Christian Heritage. Christian Heritage is undefeated and ranked number 1 against the Lady Cat’s 21-7, 16th ranking. The winner of the Christian Heritage/Chouteau game will play the winner of Fairview (#7, 25-3)/Mounds (#6, 25-2) at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fairgrounds. 2A Championship final will be at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at the Fairgrounds.
