Mayes County - "Gold Ball Chasin"
What's up next for Mayes County Basketball Ladies in the hunt for the Gold Ball?
Chouteau Lady Wildcats made history Saturday night punching their ticket to the State Playoffs for the first time! Chouteau beat Luther in a double overtime battle at Regionals to take home the plaque. They then fell short in a tough battle against unbeaten Kiefer, placing the girls once again in a battle with the Luther Lions. It remained a close game in its entirety. The Lions missed a 3 point buzzer bucket that would have tied the game and sent it into overtime.
Chouteau has a new tough opponent to look to this Thursday afternoon. They will play at 2 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, aka “The Big House” against Christian Heritage. Christian Heritage is undefeated and ranked number 1 against the Lady Cat’s 21-7, 16th ranking. The winner of the Christian Heritage/Chouteau game will play the winner of Fairview (#7, 25-3)/Mounds (#6, 25-2) at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fairgrounds. 2A Championship final will be at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at the Fairgrounds. Other teams in the 2A bracket include Kiefer (#5, 26-0), Howe (#4, 24-6) Vanoss (#9, 25-6) and Cashion (#2, 26-2).

I like the idea of having a place where people can relax and play games with friends. It seems like a good place to get together as a family or as a group of friends and just have fun. I am not sure if this is the best game for kids or adults but I think it is a very good way for people to keep their body fit and healthy. Anyhow, Gold ball chasing is a great way to improve your reflexes and make you feel better than you did before.
