Mayes County BasketballBasketball is a much busier season for me. There's always at least two games per night (boys & girls), sometimes as much as 3 nights a week, more for tournament weeks. There are three tournaments in Mayes County, the last of which is the Pryor Invitational Tournament next week. I links to every game I shoot on Facebook. However, because of Facebook's set up only about 10% of those who like my page, see my posts. Even if i pay Facebook to "boost" a post, which I have a hard time doing, still not everyone see's my posts. There are a few tricks you can do to help make sure you seem my posts. First, interact with my page.... like, share, comment on my posts. This helps others see the updates as well. Second, make sure you like AND "Follow" the Kristy Troyer Photography page. The "follow" button is right next to the "like" button at the top of the page. This should help insure my posts show up in your newsfeed more often. Finally, you can add the page to an "interest list."
I've been posting more on Twitter lately as well, so look me up and follow me there as well @ktroyerphoto.
There's also a handy dandy little RSS feed button, if you're tech savvy in that kind of thing. You an subscribe and links to recently uploaded galleries will automatically be sent to you! You can also subscribe to the blog feed, I'll work harder at keeping blog posts more up to date.
I've been on the sidelines of Mayes County High School Sports for most of the last 15 years. I LOVE being there, cheering on teams, watching athletes grow in their sports and most importantly cheering them on. I love capturing that action, intensity of faces, funny expressions and sometimes that frustration that every athletes faces in their career. Several parents have heard me say many times I'm just as emotional involved in the success of Mayes County kids as they are.
I'm fortunate to be able to have photography as one of my jobs. I do work full time job as well as being a full time single mom to a pretty awesome 7 year old boy. I'm able to be where I am because Mayes County fans continue to support and purchase images. I am very thankful of that.
If you haven't ordered before, it's a pretty easy process. I've outlined it in a previous blog post.
Here are few of my favorites....
