I'm super busy during the school season. Multiple games, teams, towns each week doing my best to grab action images from all five Mayes County teams. I'm cheering at every game and am a fan of all the athletes. I also work full time, am a full time single mom and typically teach a beginners photography course in one or two sessions each year at the Northeast Tech Center.

    Summertime is laid back for me, a little slower pace. Of course, taking into account the list above, "a little slower pace," doesn't mean a whole lot. So far this summer, I've photographed All-Star basketball and baseball games, photographed and helped my kiddo fish in a youth fishing tournament, photographed an up and coming pro boxer in a match, photographed youth teams and a couple of summer league games. My kiddo's birthday was this week as well. I put the phone down, took off from the full time job and we fished for FOUR straight days!

    The rest of the summer plans include pool and lake time, more summer baseball, portrait sessions, mowing and being outside as much as possible and I hope to take a few day trips with my kiddo (any suggestions are welcome).

    Summer also allows me a bit more time to capture nature. No sports, not portraits, just capturing God's amazing art.  Here's some of my favorite so far.
