An update on Mayes County teams in post season basketball play....

Nine of the 10 County teams are still in the hunt for the GOLD BALL!

ADAIR

Adair won both games so they will both play Saturday, starting at 6:30. Adair girls will play Metro Christian and boys will play Sperry. Win or loose, teams will advance to Area next week.

CHOUTEAU

Chouteau girls lost last night so they will play Yale at 6:30 tonight in Skiatook. They have to win tonight to continue and will play tomorrow at 1:30 in Skiatook agains the winner of Drummright/Caney Valley. They would also have to win that game to continue to Area next week.

Chouteau boys won last night so they will face Ketchum Saturday in Skiatook at 8 p.m. Win or loose they will advance to Area next week.

LOCUST GROVE

Locust Grove won both games last night so they will play Saturday starting at 6:30 in Oologah vs Oologah. Win or loose they will advance to Area next week. The boys will play McClain. Win or loose they advance to Area next week.

SALINA

Salina is in the consolation brackets and they must win every game to continue. The girls play Wilburton at 6:30 tonight in Muskogee. If they win they will play tomorrow at 1:30 against the winner of Antlers/Heavener. The Salina boys play at 8 in Muskogee tonight against Wilburton. If they win they will play tomorrow at 3 against the winner of Keys/Hartshorne.

PRYOR

Pryor girls lost last night and ended the season.

Pryor boys play Skiatook tonight in Pryor at 8. They need to win to advance. If they win they will play the winner of NW Classen/East Central tomorrow at 7 in Pryor. Both winner and looser of that game advance to next week's Area.
